At Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 30, 2006; Douglas Earl Irvin of Brantford and formerly of Paris, in his 79th year; beloved husband of Margaret; loving father of Wayne Irvin and his wife Karen of Brantford, David Irvin of Brampton, and Scott Irvin and his wife Julie of Brantford; cherished Papa of Judy, Joyce, John, Jessica and Lindsay; great Papa of Dustin, Elizabeth and Timothy; brother of Gordon Irvin and his wife Shirley of Oshawa; and brother-in-law of Joe and Margaret Brown, George and Isabel Smith, Loraine Brown and Berniece Brown; predeceased by brothers Alva and Carl, and sister Isabel. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Private family funeral service will be held.
