Nunan, John Patrick –
Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at the age of 85 years.
He leaves his wife Jo (nee Miller); three daughters, Kelly (Jon Lynne-Davies), Deirdre (Tim Marsden) and Patricia. Cherished granddad to Michael, Samuel, and Rachel Lynne-Davies and Julia and Jakob Meyer, dear brother to Peter of Thunder Bay. Also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Austin & Elma Nunan and siblings, Joan, Ted and Mary Elizabeth.
John enjoyed saying that he was the first consulting Hydrogeologist in Ontario, if not in Canada. He farmed at home and attended Western University where he studied Geology. He had a very successful career as a Hydrogeologist and ended his life as a farmer at home.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday March 28, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish prayers will be said Friday at 8:45 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church (17 Washington St. Paris) on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Bennett Celebrant. Spring Interment Conworth-Tew Cemetery.
