Condolences

Condolence From: Peter Rider
Condolence: I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of John. I had the distinct pleasure to work at his company for 7 years.

One of his many attributes was his sincere compassion for all who worked for him. His wisdom was profound and his work ethic was a model for all leaders and staff. He touched so many people in the industry he devoted his lifetime to. He was a father figure to so many of us, always willing to listen and provide sage advice and guidance.

I will always remember how he could light up a room with his grin and smile and how he loved to tell a good story.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Nunan family.

Sincerely, Peter Rider

Condolence From: Emil, Rosemarie, & Michael Frind
Condolence: Dear Jo, Deirdre, Kelly, and Patricia: We are deeply saddened about the passing of your dear husband and father, John. We have known John for 47 years. I (Emil) met him first at the Ontario Water Resources Commission where I was a summer student and John worked as a hydrogeologist before he became the first independent consulting hydrogeologist in Canada. John introduced me to the challenges of hydrogeology, and thanks to him, I am now looking back at a successful career in this exciting discipline. We will always remember him as a gentleman, a professional, and a friend. With deepest sympathy, Rosemarie, Emil and Michael Frind.

Condolence: Remembering John as a man of substance, integrity, passion, dedication, caring, and devotion to his family, his work, and other ‘missions’ in life he carried so honorably. A great individual and an unforgettable friend to generations of hydrogeologists. He will always be alive in the memories of his extensive hydrogeologic family. Let the light of his spirit continue to shine for generations to come. My deepest condolences to his nearest and dearest.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Nunan and family,
I was saddened this week to hear of John's passing. We had visited at a cattle sale last October. He had told me of his health condition. Afterwards I thought how much he sounded like he did when I first met him over twenty years ago, he had come to our farm to buy a bull. I could still hear in his voice the love he had for his family and the cattle business. I will miss John and the smile he always greeted you with. He was a true gentleman and a friend to many. I trust his memory will sustain each of you now and in the days to come.
Sincerely, Glenn Copeland

Condolence:
John was a true gentleman in all senses of the word. I met him through Water Investigations, but always knew his true passion was "Farming". He would jump at the opportunity to tour the cattle and his passion for breeding would come out in his stories. It was an honour to know him and he will be sadly missed by all of the people that he touched throughout his life.
