Condolence: We are shocked to just learn today of Christof's death. He lived 2 doors down from us and came to our street party a year ago August. We would see him briefly passing by in our car or at his store. He always had such a positive attitude, in spite of such tragedy with his wife's death, and he was so generous and knowledgable about cheese. He brought a huge tray of many different cheeses to our street pot luck party. And I know he took a beautiful platter to our mutual neighbours on the morning of their wedding day. He was a very thoughtful, generous neighbour and he will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.

Condolence: Dearest Christof, you will be missed. I looked forward to your visits every Saturday, and outside of work. Your cheese shop will also be missed. A unique shop with great cheeses and your big smile from behind the counter. You were a great man, and you have a fabulous family. Thank you for being part of my life, big hug.

Condolence: It was always a pleasure to talk with Christof after work, @ the 'Cedar House' . His downtown store was personal, and unique. The character, the conversation, and the warm smile we all got to share, will be very sadly missed.

Condolence: I have met Christoph in 2013 when I went to Paris and saw this store called " A Swiss in Paris". Since then I have been there several times and always had a good time with Christoph. Being a Swiss myself, I always enjoyed talking in Swiss-German with him. I will miss him! My sincerest condolences to his family!

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your great loss. Have known Chris aka Cal for almost 20 years. He has been to visit our IRC group on many occassions.
