Obituary for Ross Ivan Kirkpatrick

Ross Ivan  Kirkpatrick
Kirkpatrick, Ross Ivan,
Of Paris Ontario, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at the Brantford General Hospital in his 88th year.
Dearly beloved husband of Elsie (Carter), in their 60th year of marriage. Loving and proud father of Allan (Rhonda) and Scott (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Adam and Atera. Dear brother of Doris Bowles (Simcoe) and Don (Virginia) Kirkpatrick (Woodstock). He is survived by Aunts Alma Peters and Betty Kenney. Ross will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ross was predeceased by brothers Deyo (1956) and Wallace (2010). Ross was a long time and active member of St. Paul's United Church (Paris). He worked at Ladish Company as a machinist for 38 years before retiring. He was a keen competitor with the Brant Rod & Rifle Club receiving many trophies and awards.
He was an avid participating member and instructor of the Paris Lawn Bowling Club.
His caring and gentle manner will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday 7-9 PM.
Celebration of Life service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
Interment later Pioneer Cemetery Burford.
