Obituary for Norman Elgin Derrick

Derrick, Norman Elgin
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Friday September 11, 2015, of Brantford and formerly of Paris, in his 95th year.
Norman served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII. He was employed with Immigration Canada and External Affairs living in many countries around the world. He was an active member of the Paris Historical Society and a Volunteer with Cancer Society serving as a Volunteer Driver and Daffodil Drive. He was a member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church and Paris Presbyterian Church.
Beloved husband to Alberta Lathe-Derrick, and the late Ann Pauline (nee Blandford -1984), and the late Mary Wallace-Derrick (nee Van Horn – 2003); loved father to Peter Derrick (Lois), Carolyn Board (Anthony), Pamela Stephens (Tony), and Deborah Derrick (Daniel Gibson); cherished grandfather to Lauren Roberts (Todd), Sophie Moore (Cody), Katrina Merton (Ian), Jennie Board, William, Jeremy and Michael Stephens, Jonathan Derrick (Andrea), and Janna Van Domelen (Aaron) and great grandfather to Weslie, Darby, Liam, Eloise, Evelyn, Olivia, Avery and the late Lucas,. Also survived by Bill, Elaine and Rob Wallace and their families.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Sunday September 13, 2015, from 2-4 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church (155 Memorial Dr. Brantford) on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment Paris Cemetery.
