Passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at Brantford General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Saturday September 12, 2015, of Paris, in his 77th year. Predeceased by parents Michael and Emma
Max served with the Canadian Air Force, and after retiring he continued on to work with Air Canada. He retired in Paris in 2003.
He is the beloved husband to Marion (nee Griffin); loved father to Maxine (Dan Laba), Keran (Larry Bowen), and Gerald (Shelley); cherished grandfather to Tristan (Stephanie), Kelsey, Hillary, Natasha (Andrew), Branden and Logan and Great-Grandfather to Tatiana, Shelby, Alexis, and Callen; dear brother to Isabelle, Leonard, Rosemary, Leo, Gerald, Dorothy, Patricia, Michael, Francis, and the late Mary
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church (17 Washington St. Paris) on Thursday September 17, 2015, at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Bennett officiating.
