Jackson, Ronald Joseph, of Paris, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 79. Dearly beloved husband of Patricia (nee Shaw). Dear brother-in-law of David and Joyce Shaw and Ruth Stainton. Sadly missed by his nephews David, Doug, Robert, Charles and Bill and their families and his God daughter Susan Pratt. Predeceased by his parents, William and Kathryn Jackson (nee Buckley) and brother-in-law Jim Stainton.
Ron was a long time member of St John’s Lodge No. 82 serving as a Past Grand Steward for Grand Lodge of Canada as well as a member of the Paris Curling Club.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday October 6 from 2-4 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service under the auspice of St. John’s Lodge No. 82 will be held Tuesday Evening at 7 p.m Visitation will continue on Wednesday, Oct 7 from 10 – 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Interrment at Paris Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke would be appreciated.
