Obituary for Mary Yolanda Inksater (Charlton)

Inksater, Mary Y. (nee Charlton)

Passed away, peacefully, at Telfer Place, Paris on Saturday January 16, 2016.
Mary was the beloved daughter of the Rev. H.K.L. Charlton and his first wife Mary and Clara Charlton.
Mary was the loving mother of Jane & John Stewart of Paris, and Jim & Cara Inksater of Roberts Creek, BC. She was the cherished and caring “Nan” of Kiley (Brian) Cruickshank, Christopher (Melanie) Stewart, Mark (April) Stewart, Graydon and MacKenzie Inksater; she always said her grandchildren were “the light of her life”. She was the proud Great Grandmother of Blake, Brody, Laken and Maia.
Mary was the loved sister of Clara Munn (the late Don) who helped Mary so much in the last part of her life; Marguerite (Bruce) Mellor, Zann Charlton, Jim Charlton and sister in law of Otto Diehl and Phyllis Charlton. Mary was predeceased by her brother William (Bill) Charlton, sisters, Leota (Ted) Kaufman and Patricia Diehl, her husband Herb Inksater and sisters in law; Isabel (Rick) Rickwood and Frances (Dr. John Maroosis).
Mary was a faithful member of St. James Anglican Church, Paris where her father was minister for 25 years.
Cremation has taken place. A family interment will be held at Thornbury Union Cemetery in the Spring.
