JONES, Franklin William –
It is with a heavy heart we announce that Franklin William Jones, 75, passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on March 16, 2016, in the arms of his loving family.
Cherished husband and best friend of Josina (nee Koopman) for 52 years. Loving father of Wendy (Franco Macchiusi) and devoted Papa of Emilie. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Johanna Deboer (John), Hendrika Krygsman (Evert), Bernadina Lowe (John), Kathleen Koopman, Elizabeth Hooper, Mary Causyn, Keri Koopman, Teresa Bakker (Brian) and Patricia Koopman and brothers-in-laws, Frank Koopman (Deborah) and Henry Koopman (Darlene). Also survived by brother and sister-in laws in Holland; Gerrit Helsloot (Janny), Willem Helsloot (Stijnie) and Riet Helsloot. Will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in both Canada and England as well as extended family in Holland.
Franklin was born in Leicester, England on September 6, 1940, the son of William and Elizabeth Jones. He was a longtime resident of Paris, Ontario and longstanding member of St. James Anglican Church.
Family and friends will be received at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N., Paris on Saturday March 19, 2016 from 7-9 PM, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Monday 10-11 at St. James Anglican Church. Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. James Anglican Church, 8 Burwell St., Paris. Interment Paris Cemetery.

A sincere thank-you goes out to the Paris paramedics and firefighter first responders in addition to the emergency department at the BGH for their medical assistance. Further thanks to the dedicated nursing and doctors staff at BGH and St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Hamilton. Gratitude to Reverend Victor Krueger-Kischak and Father Bob Schroeder for their love and support during this difficult time.
