Peacefully, at Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, Cambridge, on Thursday June 30, 2016 of Ayr and formerly of Roseville, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Mabel Eileen (nee Zehr-2015); loved dad to the late Donna Wood (2006) (Gord), David, Brian, Brenda Poll (Ken), Doug (Tracey), Bruce (Melanie), Dennis (Terri) and Darryl (Sabrina); cherished grandpa to Natalie, Steven (Nicole), Tara Lee, Tiffany Rose, Brad, Colin, Jennifer (Ryan) , Michael, Josh, Nicol, Ashlee, Carly, Emily, Lisa (Matt), Matthew, Ryan and Kyla and great grandpa to Blake, Mason, Myles and Brody. Also survived by several brother and sister in laws, many nieces, and nephews. Roy was the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2:00PM
Interment Ayr Cemetery.
