Obituary for Kenneth Malcolm Lowe

LOWE KENNETH M
On Friday July 8, 2016, at the Stedman Community Hospice, after reminiscing with his family over his many stories Ken decided it was time to take his treasured truck out for one last drive. Left behind in the dust from the road of life to wave farewell is his wife of 44 years Cathy, his daughters Julie and Mandy and his son Clinton (Lindsay). As he was going over the hill of memories pops honked the horn at his grandchildren Aura, Kendra, Courteney and Mason and waved goodbye. Standing at the side of the road shading their eyes as he drove by are his brothers David (Denise), John (Bernadine) and Ed, sisters Carole, Brenda, Lisa (Rick). Barking his farewell and biting at the truck tires was his 4-legged companion Chewy. He was the entertaining son-in-law of Ardith Langille and brother-in-law of Ron Langille and Karen Kerry (Allan). Already on their own journeys are his mother and father John and Nancy Lowe and his father-in-law Aubrey Langille. He was an awesome uncle to many nieces and nephews and a great friend to those who knew him. As per his wishes there will be no mundane funeral but a joyful family Celebration of Life, which will take place at a later date. Cremation has already taken place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Stedman Hospice (Brantford), to the Cancer Assistance Program (Hamilton) or to the Salvation Army (Paris).
Ken’s family would like to give special thanks to all his family and friends who faithfully visited him at home and at the Hospice. Thanks to Dr. Gladstone and staff, Dr. Lee and staff and the Stedman Hospice family for helping him up into his truck and for making his last ride a smooth one. See you on the other side!..... May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields.
