Peacefully, at Telfer Place, Paris, in her 93rd year on Monday, July 25th, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Melville Archie Sheldrick (1991).
Dearly loved mother of Eleanor Sheldrick and husband Ross Male, Beverley Potter and husband Alan, Byron Sheldrick and wife Robin Alsop, and Joyce Perrin and husband Ron.
Beloved and cherished grandmother of Byron, Alexander, Seth (Rebekah) Potter, Lachlan, and Morag. She will be deeply missed by Byron and Alexander with whom she lived for more than 20 years.
Also grandmother of David (Terri), Marilyn, Ronda (Trevor), Christopher, and Roberta (Scott). Olive had 15 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
One of Olive’s greatest pleasures was enjoying videos and pictures of Seth and Rebekah’s children Naomi, Jonah, Levi, Gideon and Bethany. Olive also enjoyed watching figure skating and equestrian show jumping, and had a keen interest in the royal family.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her dear sister Ila (2000).
Services will take place on August 29th 2016 at Farringdon Independent Church, 287 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Brantford. Visitation from 11 AM with service to follow at 1PM. Internment will be beside her husband Melville at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa. Internment service August 31st at 2PM.
