Overbaugh, Judith Kathryn (nee Locke) – May 27, 1940 to Dec 13, 2016

Judy Overbaugh, of Port Dover, Ontario, died both suddenly, and naturally, in her home town of Paris, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Stan Overbaugh (2014), Judy is survived by their two children, Brett Overbaugh (Penny Beattie), Shawna Goodchild (Steve), and two grandchildren, Samantha & Amara Beattie.
Judy also leaves behind her five siblings, Curtis Locke (Ann), Debbie Flewelling (Ed), Greg Locke, Mary Sawicki (Dale), and Rob Locke (Lori), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John (Stella) and Louise.

Her siblings would probably attest that Judy was a rather adept student of drama at Paris District High School, winning several best actress awards, of which she was particularly proud. She had a penchant for drama throughout her life; which, when combined with her clever sense of humour, kept us well stocked with laughter for many years. A top notch student, Judy was enrolled in London Teacher’s college. Part way through, Judy met her true love, Stan in Port Dover Ontario. They married in 1961, and were together for 53 years, until Stan’s untimely death in 2014. That left a huge hole in her heart, but, being a true survivor, she managed to forge ahead, joining the Carillon Belles choir, and a local Miata club, and meeting many new friends along the way.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with inurnment Port Dover Cemetery.
