Robb, Shirley (nee Roy)

With courage and dignity, Shirley passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Sunday June 25th in her 70th year.
Loved deeply by her husband and best friend Bill of 45 years. Loving mother of Jackie Whiting (Jeff), Rob Robb (Tiffany), Josie Esposito (Nick) and predeceased by son Michael (1982). She will be deeply missed by her nine grandchildren, Jake, Ben and Ella Whiting, Zach, Austin, Ethan, and Makenzie Robb, and Landon and Nash Esposito. Shirley is survived by her brother George Roy, her sister-in-laws Marilyne Prine (John), Darlene Martin (Clint), Mary Robb (Judy) and Sharon, Deb, and Wanda. She is predeceased by her parents George and Josephine Roy, her sister Mary, her brother Eric, her sister-in-law Donna, and her nephew Robin. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, and an abundance of lifelong friends.

Shirley graduated in 1969 from St. Joseph's Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed her career at the Willett Hospital in Paris where many years were spent in palliative care. Shirley adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Great memories were made at the cottage, on the dance floor, around her pool, and in her gardens.

She will live forever in the hearts of the lives she touched.

Family and friends will be received at Wm Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tues June 27th from 7-9pm and Wed June 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 29th at Sacred Heart Church (17 Washington St. Paris) at 11:00 AM. Private family interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family invites you back for a light luncheon and refreshments at Cedarview Evangelistic Centre immediately following.
The family would like to thank Dr. Piercy, Dr. Gladstone, and the team of nurses and volunteers at the Stedman Community Hospice for their tremendous compassion and care.
