Cornelius “Curly” De Bruine,
Peacefully, at John Noble Home, Brantford, on Friday August 25, 2017
Of Brantford and formerly of Paris, in his 105th year.
Beloved husband to the late Cornelia (nee Hage – 1996); loved father to Maria Thiedemann (Arno); David (Carol), and Wilhelmina Eaton; cherished grandpa to 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; dear brother to Hein and Piet both in Holland. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Holland. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Cornelius was a long-time member of Bethel Reformed Church. He was a veteran of WWII and he retired after many years at Consolidated Sand and Gravel.
A private family service was held with interment Paris Cemetery. The family wish to express their sincerest appreciation to the Staff of John Noble Home
