Obituary for Marinus Hendrikus "Mike" VanAlphen

Marinus Hendrikus (Mike) van Alphen
Born June 7, 1943 Died November 21, 2017 in his 75th year in his home with family.
So young, so vital, so full of love and laughter.
He has Left Us All Following a vicious battle with prostate cancer – a battle which he demonstrated much courage, determination, gratitude and optimism.
Mike leaves behind his girlfriend Annette Eeles, his children, Paul (Barb), Jane (Steve), Andrew (Sherry), Doug (Mary Elizabeth) and grandchildren Isolt, Charlotte, Keegan, Matthew, Daniel, Stella, great grandchild Lalilia, and his siblings in the Netherlands Cor, Bets, Ad, Annie (Jos).
Cremation has taken place.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday November 24, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 17 Washington St., Paris, on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment Richwood Cemetery.
Donations to VON Sakura House Hospice or to Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
