Smart, Lloyd –
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday December 28, 2017, a long-time resident of Paris, in his 84th year.
Lloyd was a very faithful and active member of Paris Presbyterian Church. He was the proprietor of Smart Jewellers in Paris for many years. His passions were his family and golf.
Beloved husband to Margaret (nee Tombleson) for over 60 years; loved dad to Jayne Lucente (Leo), David (Julie) and Christine Rayner (Michael); cherished Poppa and Grampa to Jennifer, Beth, Eric, Matthew, Nicki, Owen, Alex, and Ryan; dear brother to Yvonne Samas (the late Andy) and brother in law to Deborah. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Harry and Grace Smart; and brothers, Paul and George.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may gather at Paris Presbyterian Church (164 Grand River St. N. Paris), on Saturday December 30, 2017 after 1:00PM. A Memorial Service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joel Sherbino officiating. Interment later Paris Cemetery.
