Peter John Wright – January 25, 1964 – December 30, 2017
Born in Bristol, England, to Dr. John Wright (deceased 2016) and Jean Wright (deceased 2017), Peter immigrated to Canada with his family at a young age. Sadly, Peter passed away in Toronto following a short illness.
Peter was a talented musician on several instruments and often dedicated free time to writing and playing music. As a younger man he was athletic, with talent in several sports. Throughout his life, Peter was a lively conversationalist and debater with a ready humour and keen sense of wit. Peter earned a degree in Economics from the University of Guelph and spent his career in his chosen field.
Much loved by his family, sister Maree Loveless and brothers Christopher and Derek, brother-in-law, nieces and nephew, uncle and cousins overseas, Peter will be greatly missed at family gatherings. A family celebration of Peter’s life was held on January 5 in Paris, Ontario, followed by interment at Holy Cross cemetery.
