Freeborn, Kathleen Marie
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Marie Freeborn (nee Higgins), at Ian Anderson House, Oakville, on Wednesday January 3, 2018, at the age of 74 years. Kathy was born and raised in the Town of Paris, Ontario.
Cherished mother to Craig Freeborn (Stacey), Paige Freeborn (Nathan Radke) and James Freeborn (Lori McKenna); loving Gramma and Amma to Cody, Kaytlyn and Grace; sadly missed by family including sisters Linda Cochrane (Gord) and Liz Rehder; aunt, Verna Young; extended family and her many friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Thomas Higgins and Kathleen Higgins Elliott (nee Wilson), and a sister Patricia Winter (nee Higgins)
Honouring Kathleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life memorial gathering and service will take place at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home 184 Grand River St. N., Paris Ontario on Saturday, January 13 from 10 -11 am followed by the service in the funeral home chapel at 11.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Ian Anderson House Hospice, Trillium Health Partners or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
