Obituary for Patrick Evan Campbell

Campbell, Patrick
On Saturday, January 6th, Patrick left us. He was born March 19 (the day before Bobby Orr’s birthday), 1962 in Windsor, to Jane (Savage) and Neil Campbell, who pre-deceased him. He leaves his loving wife Anita; sister Mindy (David), brothers Steven (Nancy), Jerry (Christine) and Calvin (Noriko); nieces Melanie (Matt), Renee (Kevin), Harmony, Yuki and Rie; and many cousins and wonderful friends. Pat attended Glenwood Elementary, Massey S.S. And St. Clair College in Windsor. He founded Campbell Engineering Services in 1992, and worked tirelessly in Windsor’s construction industry until 2004, when he moved to Paris.
Patrick was a man of strong principle, who did much good during his life, and he was a hard worker, never happier than when he was building, renovating and “getting things done.” He was an artist and a talented craftsman who valued form and function, and he held many things dear, among them Bobby Orr, boxing, crows, Patti Smith and milkshakes.
He was a gifted and giving man —a “Big Guy”— and it has been an honour to have had our lives enriched by knowing him.
There will be an open house on Saturday January 27 from 5:00 to 10:00pm, at the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre, 97 Grand River Street North in Paris. Please contact Anita for more details.
