It was a joy to meet Patrick occasionally on the walking trail along the Grand Rivr in Paris. His sense of humour and spirit were so uplifting. Years ago he repaired an antique table and chair for me so skilfully that the damage became invisible. He was a true craftsman, Condolences to Patrick's family.
