Beloved husband of 44 years to Karen (nee Grealis); loved dad to Nicole Clarkson (John Short) and Nathan Clarkson (Danielle Ambeau-Clarkson); cherished Papa to Maddison, Bryson, John Jr. and Margaret; dear brother to Leanne “Toto” Airdrie (Bruce), Tracy Clarkson and Russ Clarkson; dear son-in- law to Olive Grealis (Bob Lundy) and brother-in-law to Christine Jasper, Carol Daniels (David), and Tamara Grealis (Marios Tenentes). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Amy; his father-in-law Tom Grealis and siblings, Fred, Arnie, Elaine, Kenny and Norma Jean in infancy.
Larry was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and made time for everyone he crossed paths with. He was a well-known and long-time realtor in the Brant-Norfolk area. He was involved with AA (Paris Group) and acted as a sponsor for over 36 years. He is going to be missed by so many people whose lives he has touched.
A special thank you to family and friends who took the time to help him continue to maintain his busy social calendar, whether it was appointments, coffee, meetings, concerts, sports events (his beloved Blue Jays), we know how much he appreciated your company and support.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at Bethel Community Hall (154 Bethel Rd. Paris, ON) on Friday January 19, 2018 from 2-5 PM with eulogies offered at 4:00 PM.

The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to Dr. Anil Kapoor and the staff of St Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, ON, to Tracy Sage at CBI Home Health and staff, and to the staff and volunteers at the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House for their excellent care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Stedman Community Hospice – Hankinson House or St. Joseph’s Foundation, Hamilton (Urology and Renal Transplantation) in Larry’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
