Obituary for Henry "Hank" O'Dell

O'Dell, Henry
Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Tuesday September 7 2010, a longtime resident of Paris, in his 90th year.
Henry was employed with Consolidated Sand and Gravel and Mary Maxim. He was also a well known carpenter in the Paris area. He was a member and Past Master of St. John’s Masonic Lodge No. 82 AF&AM., a member of the Eastern Star, Royal Arch and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29. Beloved husband to the late Ruth (nee Pottruff- July 2, 2010); loved dad to Audrey Sayles (Allan). Edith Cook (David) and Lois Luis (Fred); cherished grandpa to Deanna (Jamie), Dave (Tina), Steven, Angela (Russell), Nicole (Billy), and Justin; and great grandpa to Hannah, Jakob, Sebastian, Kyrin, Tayvin and John; dear brother to Blanche Pearson & Irene Pearson and brother in law to Gwen Ladd. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Nellie O’Dell, his son Larry and a brother George. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N, Paris on Thursday 7-9 PM for memorial visitation. Memorial Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment later Paris Cemetery. A Masonic Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 PM under the auspices of St. John’s Masonic Lodge AF&AM No. 82. Donations to the Cancer Society, ALS, Epilepsy Foundation, or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
