At John Noble Home, Brantford, on Friday December 17, 2010, a longtime resident of Paris, in his 67th year.
Dave was a former member of the Lions Club and coached minor hockey and baseball for many years. He was employed many years with Brant Feed and Seed and he owned and operated Castle Building Centre in Paris.
Beloved husband and soul-mate to Sharon (nee Guthrie); loved dad to Scott (Krista), and Kevin (Sally); cherished grandfather to Paige, Morgan, KC, and Ashley; dear brother to Gloria Kernaghan and much loved brother in law to Bob Guthrie (the late Donna), Mary Lynn & Nick Schira, and Jane Guthrie (the late Bruce), Mildred Young, Helen Young, Verna Young, and Frank Whitfield; Loved uncle and best friend to Robert and Marilyn Young. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM for memorial visitation. Private family service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday Rev. Lee Haughton officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
