Ashby, Harry
Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Loving husband of Donna (nee Misener) for 61 years and proud and dear father of Douglas, Terry (Wes), Heather, Dennis (Becky). Harry was also blessed with ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Brother of Edwin(Karen), Raymond and predeceased by brother Malcolm in 1985.
A lifetime resident of Paris, Harry was owner of M & A Automotive in the downtown core for 45 years. Prior to opening the store, he was a valued employee at Penmans, Canadian Tire, where he worked as a mechanic and Massey Ferguson.
Harry was a great lover of nature and the outdoors and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, and the Hardy Bay Hunt Camp.
Harry will be sadly missed and all who knew him are truly blessed
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday October 16, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Paris Cemetery.
