Goodbrand, Iris Emma Reddaway (nee Davey)

Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, on Wednesday October 14, 2015, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 100th year.

Iris was born in Saskatchewan and moved to the Paris area in 1938. She graduated from University of Western Ontario later in life and taught with the BrantCounty Board of Education for 16 years. Iris had many hobbies including reading, weaving, painting and gardening; she loved to learn new things.

Beloved wife to the late Floyd (2000); loved mom to the late Joyce Moore (1979), Carol Williams (Jim), Herb (Gloria), and Richard (Shirley); cherished grandma to Dwayne, Bonita, Michael, the late Bruce (1978), Diane, Sherri, Julie, Kimberly, & Brian, and 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; dear sister to Elayne Lee. Special mother-in-law to Bob Moore. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Eric Davey, Myra MacKinnon, Nina Avey and Enid Hagey and a daughter in law Lynne Goodbrand (2010).

Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home. 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday October 16, from 2:30-4:30 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Cedarview Evangelistic Church (20 Cedar St. Paris) on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Family interment Paris Cemetery.
