Kerr, David Peddie “Dave”
Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Saturday January 30, 2016, a longtime resident of Ayr, in his 92nd year.
Dave was an avid golfer and tennis player, who was involved with minor hockey in Ayr. He was a member of Knox United Church and loved to play cards especially Euchre and Bridge. Dave never knew a stranger.
Beloved husband to the late Marjorie (nee Hawes -2009); loved dad to Joanne Darby (Barry Perrin); cherished Papa to Andrew (Tina), Jordan (Robyn), Duane (Nancy), Rod (Donna), Cynthia and Stephanie (Josh) and several great grandchildren; dear brother to Gordon (Pat). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Duncan and Sarah, a sister Isabel Plouffe and a brother Edgar.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Thursday February 4, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Private family service with Interment Ayr Cemetery later.
