Our hearts are saddened by the loss of this wonderful life cut short. Dave was a kind and wise friend. We met him when he & Libby had just moved to North Bay with the bank, and they soon joined our circle of friends. I think this picture is from a surprise birthday party at our house, and the first time we had Dave &Libby (and Michelle and Andrew) over just after we met... the kind of friends who you know would be just as comfortable sitting on your carpet as on your couch. This was the first of many great memories and times spent together. 💙 I remember Dave's warm hospitality, BBQs, BIG hugs, other- centered conversations , his joyful approach to life, the love and care he showed towards his family, his love of water, and boating, and most of all his love for Jesus, which informed so much of how he spent his time here on earth. Both our families ended up moving out of North Bay and around Canada - us to the west coast and Dave &Libby to the east coast, but when we were able to connect the time inbetween disappeared. He leaves a wonderful legacy behind in and for his beautiful children and grandkids. We can be confident that the God Dave faithfully followed will "redeem his life from the grave, He will surely take him to be with Himself"(Ps.49:15) This is only a "pause" in our friendship....but until we meet up again, we will miss you Dave💙
