Kellie Zurbrigg-Coutts

Growing up in Ayr in the 1960's-70's, meant you knew everyone in town. We had a special bond, that only a small town can create. And for those of us who left, that feeling never leaves us. Over the last five years, I have reconnected with many of my Ayr friends (family), and Dave was a part of that. I could easily see that he had not changed since our childhood - easygoing, fun loving, caring, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Dave, I will miss you always. To Dave's children, Sarah and Reid, I send you my heartfelt condolences - your dad was definitely one of the best - cherish all of your memories - they will bring you through this very difficult time. To Dave's sister, Janice - I so glad I could be there to give you a big hug - be strong through the quiet days to come. Big brothers may drive us crazy when we're young, but he will remain at your side to guide you through the years to come. To Mr. & Mrs. Watson, it doesn't matter how old we are, no parent should ever loose a child. You raised an amazing man, who was loved and respected no matter where he went - be proud. And to Rita and the riders who were with Dave at the end, thank you for sharing those final days and your memories with Dave - they have helped the rest of us to understand that Dave left us peacefully, and doing what he loved. Ride on my friend. Kellie
