Newstead, James Edward “Jim”
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Friday January 26, 2018, a life-long resident of Paris, in his 93rd year.
Jim was a long-time member of Cedarview Evangelistic Centre. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener.
Beloved husband to the late Marion (nee Stonehouse – 2012); loved dad to Terry (Dorothy), Debbie Semple (Bob), Sherry and Diana; cherished grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren; dear brother to Helen Motheral (Jim), and Ralph (Dorothy) and sister in law to Marjorie Cracknell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Percy & Marguerite Newstead, sisters, Laura Flack & Frances Beechey, and a grandson DJ Semple.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Monday January 29, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at 2:00PM. Family interment Paris Cemetery.
