Prideaux, Dennis Gordon “Matie”
Suddenly, after a brief illness, at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday February 21, 2018, Dennis Gordon Prideaux at the age of 82 years.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Jacqueline (nee Moriarity); loved father to Ann Taylor and Michael Rayner (Christine). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Corrinne, Hilary and Oliver Taylor (MacKenzie), Nicole, Owen, Alex, and Ryan Rayner. Loving brother of Douglas (Anne) of Aberdeen; dear brother in law to Roger Moriarity (Gloria), Marguerite Harrison and Phyllis Prideaux. He is survived by many family in England. Dennis will be missed by his good friends George and Bev McComb, Evelyn Harold (the late Vince) and Claude and Kerry Fortin. Predeceased by his parents, John Edward Prideaux and the former Edith Ellen Hill, 3 brothers and 3 sisters all in England.
Dennis was a member of the Paris Horticultural Society and volunteered for many years at the Willett Hospital in the Blood Pressure Clinic.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Monday February 26, 2018 after 9:30 AM. A Celebration of Dennis’s life will follow at 11:00 AM.
