Obituary for Ann May Williamson (McLelland)

Ann May Williamson (McLelland)
Williamson, Ann May – (nee McLelland)
Aa a result of an accident, on Tuesday February 27, 2018, long-time resident of Paris, in her 75th year.
Beloved wife to Bob; loved mom to Greg (Marla); much loved daughter to Violet McLelland and the late David; dear sister to Margaret, Rose, and Allan; and sister in law to Irwin (Marie), Leroy, and Glen (Annette). Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her in-laws Harry and Ruth Williamson.
Ann, along with her family, moved from England to Paris, ON when Ann was about six months old. They stayed briefly with her grandparents until they moved to Princeton where they resided for eleven years. They then moved back to Paris, ON where Ann attended Central School and Paris District High School. It was at Central School where Ann met Bob. They married in 1962 and welcomed their son, Greg, in 1966.
Ann got her first job after high school. She spent most of her life working in Paris. She started at Penmans Office followed by the TD Bank, Burns Insurance, Sibbick Fuels, Madill and Nolan Optometrist Office, and Brantford Medical Centre. Ann loved to work and enjoyed keeping herself busy. It wasn't just the work that brought her joy, but also those that she worked with. Many of her coworkers along the way also became very close friends.
Ann was smart, funny, kind, generous, energetic, hardworking and thoughtful. She was an amazing wife and mother and the kind of friend that is irreplaceable. She was incredibly loyal and adored in return. To have known her well was a treasure to be cherished. Now, a loss beyond measure.
Friends may call at the Wm Kipp Funeral Home on Friday March 2, 2018 from 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society or Huntington Society would be appreciated.
