Doris was always so warm and welcoming in the days when we'd visit at the farm and later, at the house in Roseville. Her sense of fun playing games at the Kaufman family parties remains in my memory and after finding her recipe for maple tarts in my collection this morning (the ones with raspberry jam in them), I shall make a batch to serve to Friday company here in her honour. She was a special lady.
