I just wanted to add to the previous message that Dad was very passionate about lawn bowling, and even got me out on the green once to give it a try. He was determined to introduce a new generation to something he truly enjoyed. I once teased him that lawn bowling was like curling on grass, and he replied, "Yes, but if curl you fall on your butt a lot and it hurts. Lawn bowling is much safer." Some of my fondest memories will always be the Christmases our family shared in the lawn bowling club house (once our family grew too large to gather at the house). Thank you all for the good times and friendship you lavished on our father. He loved you all.
