DECKER (BIRLEY), Clara Evalena (nee Hardie)-
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday November 16, 2015, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 86th year.
Clara was an a active member of Paris Presbyterian Church and volunteered at the Willett Hospital for many years.
Beloved wife to late Donald Decker (2008); loved mom to the late Larry - 2011 (Ann), the late Ted -2011 (Pam), Pam Wilhelm (Roger), Paul (Trish), Tim (Suzy), Vonda (Emery), and Joanne Mason (Mike); cherished “super G” to 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren 1 great great granddaughter Charlee Clara Rose Mitchell; dear sister to Jackie Archibald and Eva Wilson and a sister in law to Eleanor Hardie. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, & nephews. Predeceased by her parents John & Maudie, her siblings, Gwynne Thiffault, Grace Edwards, and James Hardie.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday November 20, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A memorial service to celebrate Clara’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment later Fairfield Cemetery.
