Condolence: Dear Bev, Keith, Dean and family,

I struggle to find the right words though I know there are none. I am sending you so much love. You were all so kind to me all those years ago.

Shane was such an important part of my life when we were teens. He was my best friend and my first love. I am so lucky to have all of the wonderful memories of him that I do. Whether he was hiding in my school locker to surprise/scare me, charming my strict mother by kissing her on the cheek at Christmas time, or trying to convince me that the movie "Roadhouse" had merit, he always made me smile.

More importantly, Shane had a way of accepting me completely and making me feel deeply respected, loved and important. He also had this way of making it into your heart and never leaving. I will hold him there.

With love,
Tanya

Condolence: I didn't know Choppy, but I knew Shane as a boy. When I was coaching him in baseball, he was was always a great boy to work with. The huge smile and those dimples always got to me. And then there was all of those early Sat am hockey games - Shane was a big asset to the team! To the whole Fried family, please accept our deepest sympathy on this tragic loss of a son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.

Condolence: Dean and family,
I am beyond words to say how sorry I am for your loss. After high school, we go on with our lives and keep making new memories. But times like this, brings us back to where we came from and remember our first family (besides our mothers/fathers/siblings). The people who we saw every day and had friendships with. Even if we didn't speak to them, we still knew them. We were a part of the WO family...and even Wilmot Senior. You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Condolence: Keith, Bev, Dean, Liz and Madison,

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Choppy. Over the many years I have grown up with the Fried boys, I always cherished the time I spent with Shane and looked up to him in so many ways. From the excursions out of town to the simple times sitting on the back deck on the farm getting up to no good, I will always have those fond memories of Shane. Lots of laughs, lots of worldly debates mixed with great friendship and fun times. Until we meet again.
