Hollywood,
ever since I heard of your passing last weekend, I get that uncomfortable lump in the back of my throat when I think about you suffering in such anguish. It is a true reminder of how cruel and unfair life can be, to those who are the least cruel and unfair.
I will remember you for the happy, light-hearted mood that you always brought into the Delta terminal. Your amazing work-ethic, your easy-going nature, easy smile, business smarts, generosity, and all the rest of your positive qualities which are too numerous to list off.
I will never forget all the good times we had; drinking beer after hours in Delta. Goin' out for dinner in Calgary. And all the spots in between where we met up to switch trailers, fuel up, or just to grab a coffee and stretch our legs. Thank you for showing me around Ayr the couple times I made it out your way, and telling me all those stories about you growing up on the dairy farm.
You are truly one of the most genuine and sincere people I ever came to know Shane. I pray that you have found peace and hapiness in the afterlife, and I hope I get to meet up with ya there in the future. Rest in peace driver.
