Dear Mrs. Nunan and family, I was saddened this week to hear of John's passing. We had visited at a cattle sale last October. He had told me of his health condition. Afterwards I thought how much he sounded like he did when I first met him over twenty years ago, he had come to our farm to buy a bull. I could still hear in his voice the love he had for his family and the cattle business. I will miss John and the smile he always greeted you with. He was a true gentleman and a friend to many.
